Hypnotherapy for Anxiety
Do you suffer from anxiety and panic attacks? Most of the time it can feel like you are totally alone in your battle. Well let me tell you something, you are not alone.
I have had many people, including those in the Brackley and Banbury area who share their experiences with me about their anxiety, fears and worries. Some people have suffered for so long that they become consumed by their thoughts and fears. To make matters worse, anxiety can shout very loud and it comes with some pretty scary symptoms.
Perhaps you can identify with some of the physical symptoms:
Difficulty breathing
Headaches or tight band around your head
Lack of sleep and feeling constantly tired
Difficulty swallowing
Loss of interest in anything
Depression
Racing heart
Disturbing thoughts
Constant worrying/feelings of stress
Paranoia about what people think
Blurred vision
Feelings of Panic
Pins and needles
Irritability
Constantly anxious
Feeling like you are going mad/not with it
To make matters worse, anxiety can be a greedy beast. It draws you in with every ‘what if’.
It feeds itself on your fear and gets stronger every time it deprives you of that opportunity or new experience.
You need to know that no matter how scary these symptoms are and no matter how bad you feel, you can shed the fear and live the life that you want to live.
I know that you can do this because…
Whilst anxiety tends to consume a person’s life, those people are actually highly intelligent, creative, and ambitious. In fact, studies have shown that a great number of people with anxiety, tend to have higher IQ’s and they also tend to want to achieve the very best that they can.
The part of the brain that spurs you on to keep going, is also the part of the brain that can turn on you and make things seem a lot scarier than they actually are. Your mind may be feeding you all sort of scenarios and in turn you might be feeding the fear by giving into the anxiety.
The best solution to anxiety is to starve it. I allow my clients to take a look at their anxieties for what they truly are. The great thing about working with you and your anxiety is that there are many ways to deprive the fear of it's needs.
I use hypnotherapy and psychotherapeutic techniques to get to the bottom of your anxiety.
I would be glad to discuss anything with you. You only need to contact me if you have any worries, concerns or fears. I'll look forward to hearing from you.
